Ninety-Six year old Helen M. McCain enjoyed an active, fruitful life as an enthusiastic scholar, mother, grandmother, educator, holding numerous positions in Christian work. She was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her home in Kingston. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Welton McCain. They remained in Huntsville, Alabama until the desire to be near their children caused them to move to Kingston in 2000.
Survivors are daughter, Sharon Stephenson of Kingston and Michael T. McCain of Chattanooga;
Granddaughters, Sarah Mandy Drumheller and Alissa Lee Short.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 beginning at 4:00 pm in Kingston Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Jody McCloud.
