James “Bill” Roberts, known affectionately by his family and close friends as “Pots” passed away at his home in Oliver Springs on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was a WWII Veteran serving our country in the US Army. He was a long-time member of New Life Nazarene Church in Oak Ridge and was retired from Y-12.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ova Lee Roberts;  parents, Reuben and Lucille Roberts;  infant twin daughters.

He is survived by his daughter, Annette Adkisson and husband Jeff;

Sons, Ken Roberts, Tommy and wife Melva Roberts, and Danny and wife Nancy Roberts;

Grandchildren, Jim (Leslie) Roberts, Lynn (Wes) Silvey, Cristy (Luke) Wittmer,

Derek (Emily) Adkisson, Jocelyn (Greg) Weatherford;

Ten Great-grandchildren;   Three great-great-grandchildren;

Sister, Margaret Davis;

And many other family members, neighbors, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 1:00-2:30 pm at New Life Nazarene Church, 200 Lafayette Dr. Oak Ridge, TN . The funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm with Pastor Keith Robinson officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Memorial Park with full military honors.
