Mr, Jerry Alvin Huckabey, age 77 of Coalfield passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He grew up in Oak Ridge then moved with his family to Coalfield in 1975. He retired from Y-12 after 39 years and enjoyed working outdoors in his yard. He was an excellent mechanic and was always eager to help his neighbors and friends with their projects.  Jerry was a very talented musician, playing several different instruments.

He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Mary Elizabeth Huckabey;

parents, Joseph H. and Lillian Paehler.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Huckabey;   Daughter,  Keyla Marie;

Children:  Daughter, Lora Martin of Knoxville and her children, Sterling, Silver, Jackson, Kerry, Ona, Toni, Jordan Korey, Skyler, Kylei, Renee, and Anita Johnson and Elijah of Rockwood,

Trenton and Kayla Woodard and Charlie Woodard of Oak Ridge;

Son, Jeffery (Martin ) Huckabey of Knoxville;

Son, Jerry (Stephanie ) Huckabey of Clinton and their children, Paige, Johnathan, Joe, Darrin, Alex, Savannah, Daniel, Elizabeth and Lilly;

Daughter, Terry (Bill) Young of Coalfield and their children, Nicole Berry of Coalfield and Ashley (Russell) Thomas of Coalfield;

Great-grandchildren, Hanna, Ashton, MJ, Van, and Adalynn;

Step-children, Mark (Stacy) Justice, John (Jennifer) Justice, and Jessica (Jeremy) Lowe;

Step-grandchildren, Lucas, Emily and Elijah Justice, Carter and Lilly Lowe, and Harper Grace Justice;

Best Friends, Bob Schmenk, , Estel Underwood, Carl Ford, and ”Baby Jo” his little fur baby;

Special friend, Catman;

And a host of other family members, neighbors and good friends.

 A Graveside Service will be held for family and close friends on Friday, January 6, 2017,  2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.  Preacher John Underwood will officiate and dear friend and neighbor, Estel Underwood will provide music.
