John A. Ollis, age 72 of Oliver Springs passed away suddenly on July 7, 2017. He was born at home in Oliver Springs on November 21, 1944 to Boyd E. and Ina Cox Ollis. John was a truck driver in this area for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed talking to folks around town and he never met a stranger!

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Mike Ollis and wife, Donna of Oliver Springs;

Great-great-grandson, Ayden Smith;

Sister, Barbara Kennedy of Oliver Springs;

Niece, Judy Brown and husband, Mike of Oliver Springs;

Nephews, Ron Armes, Charles Armes, and David McCarroll;

And many friends and other family members.

John chose cremation with no services to be held.
