I am so very sorry to hear about your father's passing . I remember your dad when I was just a young kid growing up in Oak Ridge. He was such a great person he will surely be missed by all that knew him and loved him.

Played many wonderful rounds of golf at Oak Ridge Country Club and enjoyed trips to Etowah playing in the beautiful North Carolina Mtns with Bob along with my Dad - Jim Tarrant, Bruce Finney, Paul Wilkinson, Bob Adams, and Ray Walker . Bob Holmberg was a wonderful man, scientist, athelete, and father with such a zest for life. I send my condolences for your loss. Your parents were simply terrific people that meant a lot to me and my folks. (But...how fun it was to win just a dollar from Bob and his hilarious reaction-but always -always the consummate sportsman and gentleman).

Nancy, Tom and I are saddened by the loss of your father and recently of your mother. I "knew of" your dad when we both coached in the youth leagues.before I met you in '84. Your parents have given you and your loved ones beautiful memories. Our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Mr. Holmberg was an amazing man and was a big part of my childhood. He loved his family and the kids in the neighborhood and always took time to teach us about the outdoors. My heartfelt prayers go out to the family. So sorry for your loss.
