Sandra Kay Tucker, age 69 of Oak Ridge passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired ironworker.

Sandra was born in Oliver Springs in the old Fred Stone building.  She loved to travel and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed attending Indian pow-wows and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin and Kelsie Pride Tucker;

Son, Timothy Patterson; Brothers, Tommy Tucker, Amos (Buddy) Tucker, and Fred Tucker; Twin sister, Wanda Faye Tucker;

Brothers-in-law, Jim Wilson and Roy Burney;  Sister-in-law, Bobbie Tucker.

She is survived by her children, Tammy and Glen Dockery;

Grandchildren, Chelsea and Brent (Tiara) Smith;

Great-granddaughter, Amelia Longmire, Wayne Smith, Hayden Reynolds and Dylan Smith;

Brothers, Archie Tucker;

Sisters, Lavada (Bill)Tucker Hatmaker, Sallie Tucker Tinker, Vickie (Doug) Tucker Lane,

Sharon Tucker Wilson, Patsy Tucker Burney, Debra (Larry) Tucker McCabe, and Martha Tucker;

Special friends, Suzanne Relford and Dannette Prater;

And a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Coalfield officiated by Bro. Gary Massengill. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00.
