Scott E. Brown, age 57 of Dyllis, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved and raised  mountain curs. He worked at Boeing as a painter and machinist, and became a union steward before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Ann Brown; wife, Serina Brown; infant grandson, Kase Daniel Brown; step-son, Christopher Wayne Woods; infant brother, Billy Joe Brown, Jr.; father-in-law, Roy V. Jones.

He is survived by his father, Billy Joe Brown of Dyllis;

Children, Scott Brown, II;

Shannon Michelle (Calvin) Treadway and Shawn Helen Brown;

Grandchildren, Cadence Taylor, Calvary Treadway, and Kinley Serine Treadway, who is due in January;

Sisters, Kim (Ronnie) Crass and Michelle (Buddy) Christopher;

Mother-in-law, Glenda Jones;

3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law;

And a several nieces, nephews, and other family members and good friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, December 7, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 115 Old Hen Valley Rd. Oliver Springs, TN 37840

The funeral service will begin at 8 pm with Bro. Eddie Neeley officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Thursday morning, 11:00 am in Cedar Hill Church Cemetery, Marlow Community.

In lieu of flowers, an expense fund has been set up for the family and donations may be sent to Jackson Funeral Services, PO Box 91 Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
