Ardell Craze, age 89 of Henagar, Alabama died Wednesday, May 29 at his residence surrounded by family. Funeral services are Saturday at 4 pm CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Steve Lea officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time. An additional visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2 at Beech Park Baptist Church in Oliver Springs, TN from 1:30 to 3:00 pm ET. A Graveside Service officiated by Pastor Robbie Leach will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Survivors include children, Linda Laugherty(Eddie), Lisa Harper(David), Larry A. Craze(Mary), Terry Craze(Judith), Danny Craze(Terri), Jerry Craze(Sonya), grandchildren, Eddie King(Shauna), Anne Eddy, Daniel Craze(Sarah), Andrew Craze, Kristin Hensley, Natalie Rice(Jason), Dan Craze, Ryan Craze(Chaquita), Jon Michael Craze(Ally), Jordan Craze, Tiffany Martin(Greg), Jessica Harper(Austin), Tyler Harper, great-grandchildren, Saylor, Matthew(Amanda), Justin, Samantha, Jackson, Chloe, Avery, Liam, Gavin, Emma Leigh, Jackson, Ryanna, Eva, Anzlee, Brady, Haven, sisters, Martha Hicks Nix(Bruce), Wanda Thompson Adcock(Marris), Lula Miller(Roland), brother, Leroy Craze, a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Craze was a Veteran having served in the US Army, a fifty-year member of Ashlar Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rites, Cahaba Shriner and Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. He co-owned Craze Brothers Heating and Air for 33 years in Oliver Springs, TN before moving back to Alabama and enjoyed his farm raising Cattle and Donkeys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Elzora Cordell Craze, wife, Lonnie Mae Crider Craze, brother, DeForrest Craze.
