Gregory Kyle Goans “Greg”, age 58 of Oliver Springs passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born and raised in Alabama and worked in the carpet industry for most of his life as a carpet installer for Carpet City. He moved to Oliver Springs in 2007 and enjoyed fishing in the local

rivers and lakes, especially Poplar Creek. He loved watching tv and the old western movies and was an avid reader and liked car racing.

Greg leaves behind the love of his life, Delores Conn;

Sister, Melinda Davis McCullum of West Virginia;

Brother, Terry Rodney Davis, Jr. of Morris, Alabama;

Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann Gardner (Eddie) of Louisville, Kentucky,

Sharon Cantrell, Madalyn Starnes, Maureen “Phobie” (Cindy) King, all of Oliver Springs;

Many special friends including, Melanie Parten, Mattie Lou Lee, Edna Acuff, and Frank Walls;

And many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

The family has chosen cremation and are planning a “Celebration of Life” service at a later date.
