JOLA GAYLE (LINDSEY) HERRING

Jola Gayle Herring, aged 65, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Gayle is survived by her husband Max Herring of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, her son, Joshua Allen and his wife Maurya of Frankfort, Kentucky, and their children James and Sofia. She is also survived by her cousin Jill Dreaden of Waverly, Tennessee.

An only child, Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lola Lindsey of Arlington, Kentucky

Gayle was an Air Force veteran, and an art major alumnus of Murray State University, located in Murray, Kentucky. She maintained an active interest in art throughout her life, from painting, weaving and hand spinning yarn, to lampwork glass bead making in her later years.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2019, from 4pm – 6pm. The gathering will be held at the Old Town Inn, located at 110 East Tennessee Avenue, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, 37830.
