Michael Boyd King

Michael Boyd King, age 64 of Oak Ridge passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center.  Mike was a hard worker and had jobs as a commercial truck driver, security guard at y-12 and a machinist at ORF. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and enjoyed being with his family and watching UT Football.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Cleta Fairchild King.

Mike is survived by his father, Boyd King, sisters, Linda Gail Calvert and husband Gary of Oak Ridge, Pat R. Coker of Oliver Springs and brother, Marty King of Oak Ridge, nieces and nephews, Jill Robbins, Chad Calvert and wife Ashli, Jeffrey Calvert and husband Joshua, Rebecca Calvert, Crystal Stair and husband Brad, great niece, Baylee Payne and great nephew, Max Calvert.

The family will have a graveside service at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Friday morning, June 1, 2018 at 10:00am with Bro. Steve McDonald officiating.
