Robert John Goble

Robert “Bob” J. Goble, at the age of 80, peacefully passed from this world to the next at 8:23pm, Thursday, February 8th, 2018 at the Harriman Care and Rehabilitation Center. Bob was born in Ontario, Canada on November 27, 1937. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Olive Goble and by his wife Mary Goble. Dad is survived by his step-daughter Tamara Stefanits and husband Brian Stefanits of Dorchester Ontario, his eldest son Rick Goble and his wife Laurie of St. Thomas, Ontario and his youngest son, Mike Goble and wife Tara Duffy of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Pupa is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Tasha Clipperton and her husband PJ, Chad Stefanits, Megan Musser, Kyrie Nadon and her husband Pat Nadon, Ryan Goble, Alexis Goble, Matthew Goble and Mackenzie Goble. Great Pupa is survived by 4 beautiful great-grandchildren, Parker Clipperton, Mason Nadon and newly born twins Austin and Edison Nadon. Bob lived life to the fullest and was always the optimist. He enjoyed being near the water at his home in Harriman, Tennessee, where he lovingly looked after his two dogs, Weaver and Maggie. Bob loved anything to do with cars. He owned Goble’s Auto Body in Avon, Ontario for over 30 years. Bob moved to Tennessee in 1993. He worked as plant manager at Temco and went on to own his own Car Wash until retirement. The entire family would like to thank all of the Health Care providers at Roane County Medical Center, Fort Sanders Regional Hospital, Harriman Care and Rehab Center and Caris Hospice Care. Special thanks to Pamela and April at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital and Lacey of Caris Hospice Care. Bob will be laid to rest beside his parents and with his wife, in Dorchester, Ontario this summer. The family would like to welcome visitors to his home at 232 Lakecrest Drive, Harriman, on Thursday, February 15th from 3pm to 6pm for a casual celebration of his life. Dad, Pupa, Bob, may you rest in eternal peace.
