WILLIAM (BILL) JAPP Obituary

(Bill) Japp, age 79, of Jefferson City, TN (formerly of Romulus, MI), passed away on July 1, 2019.  He was born on August 18, 1939 to George Stewart and Dorothy (Larkin) Japp in Detroit, Michigan.  After high school, Bill served in the United States Marine Corp from 1958-1961.  He worked for Wayne County Road Department until his retirement.  He was married to Donna Villeneuve for 55 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, George Stewart and Dorothy (Larkin) Japp, one brother, Donald Japp, one sister Elaine Alexander, and brothers-in-law Michael P. Alexander and Paul Miner.

Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna (Villeneuve) Japp, daughters, Pamela and husband Keith Henry of Coalfield, TN and Jennifer Japp of Orange Beach, Alabama.  Two grandchildren, Chastin and Coalton Henry. Sister Judy Miner of Plymouth, Michigan and former sister-in-law Barbara (Japp) Atwood of Kentucky. Special friend, Charlie Eudy and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday July 9 at 9:30 a.m.at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN.  Due to the Cemetery flower restrictions the family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Coalfield Football PO Box 98 Coalfield, TN 37719.
