Albert “Eugene” Russell, age 76 of Oliver Springs passed away on December 4, 2025 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.  Eugene enjoyed ginseng hunting, fishing, writing poetry, and watching westerns.  He loved arts and crafts and playing music, (fiddle and guitar).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Betty Mae Russell; Sisters, Tommie Breeden and Mary Ann Russell; Brothers, Jimmy and J.W. Russell;   Brothers-in-law, Randall,  Donnie Junior and Robert Joe West.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cathia Russell;  Two sons, Joseph Eugene and William Joshua Russell;   Grandchildren, Daniel, Lucas, Liam, Ashlyn, and Lila Russell;

Sister, Helen (Gary) Phillips;   

Sisters-in-law, Nella Reynolds, Beatrice , Mary and Vivian Russell;

Brothers-in-law, James, William Roy, Michael Daniel and Eddie Dean West;

And several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family chose cremation with no services planned at this time.
