Amanda Sue Perkins

Amanda Sue Silva Perkins, age 49, passed away July 5, 2026 at her home in Wartburg. Amanda was a dedicated CNA who cared for countless patients in their worst moments. Amanda found joy in crocheting, fishing, and camping, along with spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Susan Jackson, biological father Roy Rickett, and her grandson Tatum Blake Young.

Amanda is survived by her dad Robert Jackson; daughter Hannah Young; grandchildren Chloe, Gunner, Wesson and Chevelle Young; brother Joseph Silva; sister Abby (Chuck) Dyer; uncle and close friend Tommie Rickett; nephews Jeriko Silva and Avery Dyer; niece Mackenzie Dyer and her best friend Jennifer Byrge.

Family will have a graveside service at Davis Cemetery in Coalfield on Thursday July 9, 2026 at 1:00 P.M.
