It is with heavy hearts and enormous great sadness we have to announce the sudden passing of Barry Coker age 74 of Ellendale TN.
He passed away on Saturday June 8th at Methodist North in Memphis Tn surrounded by his wife Linda of 55 years, son Greg and wife Michelle.
He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and Air Craft Mechanic working at Federal Express for 35 years. He served 4 years in the U.S. Airforce serving one of those years in Vietnam.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Coalfield, TN
Preceded in death by parents; Earl and Hazel Lee Coker, Brother Bill, Sister Beverly and husband Robert Parrott, Father-in-law Virgil Mullins and wife Louise, brother-in-law Rafford, Allen and Virgil Lee and sister-in-law Helen Ray.
Barry is survived in death by his sister Barbara Halburnt and family, sister-in-law Sherline Coker and family. Special brother-in-law Danny Mullins along with many nieces, nephews’ other family and friends. He was Papaw to his fur babies Jax and Molly.
Viewing will be at Jackson Funeral Home in Oliver Springs from 12-1:30 pm on Tuesday June 11, 2024. Graveside service will be held at 2 pm for family and friends in the Estes Cemetery, in Coalfield officiated by Kenny Rains.
