CHRISTENE MARIE (WALKER) ISBELL

Christene Marie Isbell passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at five age of 75.  Chris was born in Pasadena, California on October 28, 1944.  She was the loving wife of Don Isbell for 55 years.  They married young and started a family, having two daughters.  They lived in five states and many cities.  She was a beautiful woman with an adventurous spirit which showed in her willingness and ability to pick up and move to another city and happily start a new life.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing and cross-stitch, she was very talented.  Although she was quiet, she loved to laugh and had kind heart. Don and Chris moved to Tennessee in March of 2019 to be closer to their daughter’s and family.  She was a loving and understanding mother and grandmother.

Chris is survived by her husband, Donald Frederick Isbell, her daughters Dawn Marie Isbell and Fredith Skaife and husband Jeff, her grandchildren Dawn Patrice Isbell, Jeffrey Lawrence Skaife, Jr. and Amanda Jean Skaife and her great grandchildren Angel Christene Ervin and Austin Patrick Ervin.

The services will be held at Middle Creek Baptist Church, located at 6455 Knoxville Highway, Oliver Springs, TN on Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Chris be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Tennessee, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN, 37919.
