Charles Michael Conroy, age 76, died October 2, 2022, at Westmoreland Health and Rehab in Knoxville, where he had resided for several years. He died peacefully in the presence of his daughter, Mary.

He was born in Clarksville, TN. on June 27, 1946, to Charles C. and Lucille Davenport Conroy. He was raised in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1964, and attended Vanderbilt University and graduated from University of Tennessee Law School. He practiced Law in Georgia and Tennessee.

He is survived by 3 children, Elizabeth Bumbalough, Chase Conroy (wife Lindsay) and Mary Conroy, 5 grandchildren, and former wife and mother of his children, Chadwick Conroy, all of Knoxville.

Also survived by one sister, Mary Chris Conroy Layton, Oak Ridge.

He was a lifelong shell collector and had an extensive collection and knowledge of shells from around the world, and especially loved Sanibel Island.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksvilfe, TN. and services and burial will be announced at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the local chapter of the Parkinsons Association.
