David Eban Adcock, 88 of Coalfield, TN passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 29, 2025. After meeting the love of his life Nelda, they married just 3 months later and spent 67 wonderful years together before her passing in October of 2023.
He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor at Y-12. He was a man of strong Christian faith and a devoted child of God. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Hazel (Hensley) Adcock.
Brothers: Blaine (Toop), Frank, Bill, J.B., Hugh Don (Cocky) Adcock.
Sisters: Ruth (Sis) Shoemaker, Mae Fritts, Carolyn Jane Jones.
Survived by his son Mike and wife Teresa Adcock.
Grandchildren: LaTosha Adcock and James (Christina) Adcock.
Great-grandchildren: Kaylee (Estevan) Vargas, Brooke, Joliann, Uriah, Saban, Nelda June.
Brothers: Charles Adcock (Dorothy) and Marris Adcock (Wanda).
Sister; Janice Wormsley; And many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 1-2:00pm at Jackson Funeral Home, 51 Edmonds Drive Oliver Springs, Tn 37840. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm officiated by Pastor Garvan Walls and Grandson, James Adcock. Interment will follow in Adcock Cemetery, Coalfield, TN
