Dottie L. Stubbs, of Oliver Springs went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2026, exactly 6 years following the passing of her loving husband (her man), Lonnie Mack Stubbs Jr.
She was a dedicated Christian and a loving wife and mother. She loved to play the piano and sing in church. Mrs. Stubbs worked as a hairdresser for more than 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Mack Stubbs Jr. Parents Zeb and Dorthy Melton, sister Judy Melton and niece Shelia Justice.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela “Lynne” Stubbs and grandson Luke Gregory.
Sisters Doris Justice and Phyllis Walker and brother Steve Melton. Many thanks for all the kind words and prayers from her friends and extended family in the community.
Due to the inclement weather predicted for Saturday, January 31st, Dottie’s graveside service will be held at Jackson Funeral Home, 51 Edmonds Drive, Oliver Springs. Service will begin at 12 noon with Bro. Matt Reed officiating.
Donations in her memory are requested to be made to the Humane Society of Tennessee Valley, in lieu of flowers.
