EMILY ANNE (CAMPBELL) STINSON

Emily Anne Campbell Stinson, age 43, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2020, at Methodist Memorial Hospital in Oak Ridge, TN.  She is preceded in death by her son, Timothy Angus Bailes; father, William Angus Campbell; grandmother, Anne Devault Boyd. 

She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Stinson, age 7; mother, Nancy Perkins; husband, Rodney Stinson;  brother, Andrew Perkins;  sister-in-law, Kathleen Perkins;  niece, Cordelia Perkins; step-children Kara, Omega, Katelyn, Kodi, and Ashton.  

Emily was born May 28th, 1977 in San Antonio, TX and raised in Oak Ridge, having also lived in South Korea. She graduated from Oceanview High School, Guam and traveled all over Asia before returning to study anthropology at UT Knoxville.  She enjoyed acting and swimming.  She worked in recovery programs and homeless shelters, and as a full-time home health nurse.  She was a devout Christian, serving anyone in need with all her heart.   Her struggles with her health never dampened her devotion to her children.  All who knew her will remember her quick wit, boundless enthusiasm, easy laughter and irresistible charisma.  

Arrangements are with Jackson Funeral Services, Oliver Springs.  Services will be private
