Evan Keith Sampsel, of Knoxville, TN, age 34 passed away at home on September 13, 2024.  Evan was a 2009 graduate of Karns High School and a graduate from Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, TN  with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business Administration.    

Evan is preceded in death by his mother, Carla Thomas Sampsel, grandparents Jeanette and Hesco Thomas, Sheila Eastridge Melhorn (Jess), and Roy Lee (Sam) Sampsel.

Evan is survived by his father George Evan Sampsel of Atlanta, GA, his brother Zackary Thomas Sampsel (Brittany) of Powell, TN, and nephew Lennox Gray Sampsel of Powell.  Evan is also survived by Uncle Joel Sampsel (Michelle) and cousin Aaron Kesterson and numerous family members including great aunts and uncles, as well as many special cousins and close friends.

A drop by receiving of friends/celebration of life will be held at The Barrington Clubhouse, 5716 Bridgehampton Drive, Powell, TN on October 6, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 pm. 

A private interment will be at the Estes Cemetery in Coalfield, TN at a later date.
