Evelyn L. Baker, age 79, of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday December 21, 2025, after a lengthy illness at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center.
Evelyn loved her family and was a very giving person putting others before herself. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and painting.
She worked as a Funeral Home Assistant servicing many families throughout the years.
Awaiting her in heaven were her mom and dad, Henry and Bernice Duncan.
Her Brothers Glennis, Wymer, and Stanley: Sisters Jewel, Faye, Ginny and Norma.
Nephews George, Jeff, Allen and Wayne.
Survived by her children Lisa Baker and John Baker.
Grandchildren, Dustin, Justin, Chris, McKinzie, Lucas, Cameron and Konar, 10 Great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Many other family and friends.
Memorial service will be held Saturday January 10, 2026, 12-2pm at the Laurel Grove Baptist Church Briceville Tenn.
Funeral will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Clayton Duncan officiating
