George Edward Davis, 82, of Lenoir City, passed away on August 17, 2025. He was born February 22, 1943, to the late David Charles and Ollie Mae Davis.

George is survived by his wife of 39 years, Charlene Davis; children Tammy(Doug) McCann, Diane Young, and David Davis; grandchildren Billy, George, Amy, Chris, Farren, Heidi, Sierra, Mattia, Mariah, James, Jamie, Havyn, Hadyln, Hally, and Hayden; several great-grandchildren; bonus daughters Jennie,( Robbie) Dana,( Jeff) and Shana,(Jeff)and his brother Bobby.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, his bonus son Bo, and granddaughter Keiley.

George will be remembered as a tall, strong, hardworking man with a kind and giving heart who loved nothing more than spending time with his family. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, gathering of friends at 6-7:00 PM, Funeral service 7:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church, 9195 Ford Rd, Lenoir City, TN 37772.

Officiating service Jeff Waldrop. Flowers may be sent to the church in his honor.
