James “Jamie” Marshall King went to be with our Lord on Monday May 12, 2025, at his residence in Oliver Springs, TN. He was born at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville on July 5, 1987, to Robert King Jr. and the late Carolyn Davis Lively.

                Jamie loved spending time with family, being outdoors, 4- wheeling, hiking, fishing, and working on cars or building things. He served in the United States Army from 2006 until 2008 where he received the Army Accommodation and the National Defense Service Medals among other ribbons. He also attended National Auto Diesel College. Jamie was a very kind person that will be deeply missed.

                In addition to his mother Carol, Jamie is preceded in death by his grandparents James W. Davis, Judy Friedburg, Robert N. and Julie King. Brothers, Christopher and Robbie King. Stepfather Clark Douglas Lively, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

                Jamie is survived by his wife Alicia, and children Boldyn Woodard, Kaylynn Raven. Son and daughter James King and Brianna Massengale and their mother Diana Massengale. Sisters Brittany Davis of Oak Ridge, Casey and special brother-in-law Lee Riseden of Winfield. Nieces he grew up with that were more like sisters Kristen Riseden (Erik), Heather Goad (Adam). Special nieces and nephews Alayah, Kamari. Saniyah Davis,  Kyzleigh Parton, Braxton Drury, Michah Davis, Xavier, Kennix, Zakoda Parton and X’zaiden Goad. Father-in-law Jeffery McBride and mother-in-law Shelia McBride.

Aunts: Phyllis Gault and husband Sam of North Carolina. Norma Green of Clinton, TN.  Cousins: Elizabeth Nichols, Jacqualine Green, Ronnie Green, along with many other family members and friends that are saddened by this loss.

Lifelong friends: Jamon Hopper, Adam Burchfield.

Bonus Moms: Teresa Taylor and Melissa Burchfield.

Cremation was chosen; Celebration of Life is planned for July 4th, 2025. Location and time will be posted soon.
