James Larry Stewart, a veteran of the United States Army, a longtime employee of ORNL, and a recently retired driver for the Oak Ridge school system, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Bernice Stewart; his brother, David Stewart; and sister Lila Stewart.

He is survived by his two sons, Jonathan and Andrew Stewart; daughter-in-law, Cindy Stewart; brother, Robert Stewart; nieces, Melissa (Scott) Vanos and Lisa (Mark) Waters; and grandchildren, Nealey and Natalia Stewart.

Larry was a proud and active member of Royce Baptist Church, where a celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 4:00 p.m.
