Jerry Lee Taylor, age 69 of Kingston passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at his home.
He was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed working for Roger Daniels Company.
Jerry was a loving husband, awesome dad, and an amazing papaw. He loved the Lord and served as a minister. He had a loving and caring heart for others. His favorite pastimes included fishing and golfing and just spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tensley and Ruth Lucille (Lowe) Taylor; And one brother, Dean Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Michele Taylor of Kingston;
Children, Jerry Lee Taylor, Jr., Kevin Miller, Amanda Love and Tyler Lee Mack Taylor and his girlfriend, Mikayla Ledbetter, and Pam Daniels;
Five grandchildren, Paizley, Shirah and Elijah Taylor, Mikala Ailene Love age 11,
Colton Matthew True age 9, Tyson William Dewel Taylor age 4, Chloe Marie Denise Taylor age 3, and Daniel Cole Taylor 8 months;
Sisters, Frankie, Faye, Doris, and Cindy;
Brothers, Johnny, Ellis, and Doug Taylor and Steve York;
And a host of other family members and good friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Old Mount Pisgah Church, 701 Smith Mountain Road Rockwood on Thursday, June 11, 2020 beginning at 11:00 am (EST) with Bro. Greg Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Haley’s Grove Cemetery, Crab Orchard.
