Mr. John Phillip Gifford (Giff), age 76 of Oak Ridge (formerly of Oliver Springs), passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. His daughter Niki and his wife Carrie were with him when he passed and his son Brian was waiting to ride motorcycles with him in heaven.

Giff served our country in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an engineer with Smalley Manufacturing Company for 23 ½ years. He enjoyed camping and visiting with other campers and loved to tinker on things around the house.

 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn (Carrie) Gifford;

Daughter, Niki (Chris Aslinger) Gifford ;

Grandchildren, Tyler Lee (Sierra Harness) Eppes, Christopher Daniel Gifford, Chasity Danielle (Austin Seeber) Gifford;

Great-grandchildren, Braxton Seeber and coming in August, Stella Ann;

Bonus great-grandchild, Ava Valentine;

Sister, Phyllis Gifford;

And many friends and other family members.

 

Visitation will be Friday March 17, 2023 5-7:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Home 51 Edmonds Drive, Oliver Springs Tenn 37840
