Kenneth Ray Hooks, of Harriman TN, passed on to what is next for him on March 23, 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI on May 30, 1965.
Kenny held many titles in life, most cherished being father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. He spent his working years as a professional landscaper and a hazardous materials removal specialist.
He spent his youth as a baseball player, sketch artist, and fun-loving, protective big brother. As a brother, he shared his love of good music and good times, and carried those loves throughout his life. He also loved nature, fishing, sports, and talk radio. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, and together they shared a love of art, music, and movies. He brought joy to her life, and fostered her love of animals.
Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Foy, and sister, Kimberly Whitehead.
Kenny was survived by his daughter, Karley Hooks, estranged wife, Dee Hooks, and grandson Gavin Brezeale, stepfather, Mike Foy, brother Greg Hooks (wife, Nancy Hooks), and sisters Deanna Grove (husband, Scott Grove), Tonya Hooks Helmer, Michelle Hill (husband, Edward Hill), Melissa Baisden (husband, Tommy Baisden), along with fourteen nieces and nephews, and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
There will be no funeral ceremony held. In honor of Kenny, listen to a great song and raise a toast to the life he lived.
