Kathleen (Kathy) Russell Miller, age 69, of Harriman, TN passed away at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN on Sunday, September 22, 2024.  She was born on July 22, 1955 in Oliver Springs, TN. 

Kathy enjoyed camping, four wheeling, fishing, hunting, bingo and NASCAR racing. 

Kathy graduated from Coalfield High School and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration at the TN College of Applied Technology. She prepared newspaper articles in Clinton prior to investing her skills and time to manage Kathy’s Market in Oliver Springs. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Junior and May Russell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clive and Dorothy Miller: brothers Kenneth Collins and Johnny Russell and bonus grandson, Quentin Etter. 

Kathy is survived by her husband Jimmy Miller, brother Wayne Russell and brother in-law Marvin Miller.   Maternal Aunts Aileen Souder, Naomi Gill of Clinton; Diane Whaley of Eldon, MO; Maternal Uncle, Charles Whaley of Chattanooga. Paternal Aunts,  Stevelaine Russell and Betsy McGhee of Oliver Springs,TN.  Bonus children Nick (Jeannie) Miller and Valle Etter.  Cousin (aka Sister) Pat (Dick) Foxworthy of CO Springs,CO. Bonus grandchildren Levi and Mason Miller and Emma Etter.  Nieces,  Tracie Russell of Clinton, Natasha (Scott) Fritts of Harriman, Rachael (Ryan) Russell of Rockwood, Keturah Eaton; Nephews Jonathan (Tanya) Russell and Joshua Russell of Oliver Springs; James (Abbey) Russell of Harriman. Kenneth Collins Jr and Christopher Collins of Oneida, TN.  A host of many great nieces and great nephews including Mason Russell.  Many cousins both local and out of state. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27th, 2024 from 5:00-700pm at Jackson Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm with Preacher Doug Monday officiating.  Graveside services will be on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 1:00pm in Estes Cemetery in Coalfield, TN, with Preacher Doug Monday and Charles Whaley officiating.  A reception will follow at the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle, 1420 Old Roane Street, Harriman, TN.
