Kenneth Laswell

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Laswell, age 81of Spring City passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He was the lead singer of the” Fishermen Quartet” and they traveled around singing in many churches throughout the Tennessee and Ohio  area for thirteen years. Also, during his working career, he was a semi-truck driver.

 Kenneth was known as a  “handyman” and  enjoyed working projects such as building decks and remodeling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Letha (Philbeck) Laswell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce Barnes Laswell of Spring City;

Sister-in-law, Mary Bottoms;

Brother-in-law, Jim Barnes;

And a host of other family members and good friends.

Cremation was chosen with memorial services to be held in Spring City and in Ohio. These services are being planned.
