MARGARET "LYNN" (WALLACE) FOX

Margaret “Lynn” Fox of Coalfield, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2021, after a brief, non-COVID related illness, with husband Joe Fox of 36 years by her side.  While she was a wonderful mother and wife, what brought her the most joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Because she loved sweets so much, she made sure her grandbabies always had candy close by when they visited.  Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She was always helping others and asked for nothing in return.  This world will not be the same without her. 

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and stepdaughter, Sandy.  She is survived by her soul mate, Joe of 36 years, daughter, Keri Cagle (Wayne), sons, Joe Hanson (Kelly), John Hanson (Jan), and James Hanson; step-children, Pat Fox and Tony Fox; multiple grandchildren – Kelli, Kris, Nic, Joe, Justin, Elizabeth, Chelsea, Lauren, Emily; several great-grandchildren; and special extended family members Lisa and Dan Roach.

At her wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
