Myra Ann Choate

Myra Ann Choate, age 66 of Chattanooga, TN passed away on December 16, 2020 at her home.

Myra was a member of 1st Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, TN. She worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Choate and Barbara Lofty Choate of South Pittsburg, TN and great-nephew, Israel Craze of Oliver Springs.

She leaves behind a devoted brother, Tom Choate and wife, Veronica of Oliver Springs;

Nephews who she loved like her own children, Travis Choate and wife Kristin, Blake Choate and wife Patty, all of Oak Ridge, Ryan Craze and wife Chiquita and Dan Craze of Oliver Springs;

Great-nieces, Heidi Choate, Ryanna and Eva Craze;

Great-nephew, Zachary Choate;

Lifetime friends, Ellen McCashin and husband Rick and Tammy Clark, all of Chattanooga;

A private “Celebration of Life” will be held by the family in the Spring to fulfill Myra’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Shriner Children’s Hospital. Myra worked at Erlanger Children’s Hospital Emergency and Burn Unit and was an avid Shriners supporter.
