Robert “Bob” Jones was born and raised on a farm off Mahoney Road in what is now Oliver Springs, TN. Bob spent his life serving the East TN area with his electrical work and carrying power through homes and businesses that can still be noted today. He has spent the majority of his life as a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church.

While not a man of many words, his heart and desire to serve his family was known by many. The legacy of love and care to others that he will leave behind will not be forgotten. Bob would often be found at 10:15 in the morning taking break from work with his sons, grandkids, work crews, etc.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years and mother of his children, Madge Anita Jones, and his son, Kenny Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Allene Jones; his son Mike (Ann) Jones and daughter Sherry (John) Smith.  Stepchildren: Renee (Wade) Adams, and Tim (Carmen) Hines.

Grandchildren: Corey (Laura) Jones, Anthony (Lindsey) Jones, Brenna, Robbie (Amanda) Poe, Michael (Christal) Poe, Ryan (Sarah) Smith, Wesley (Emily) Jones, Megan (Chad) Broscious, Ashley (Bill) Thompson, Tyler Adams, Cole Hines, and Noah Hines.

Great-grandchildren: Caden, Amiah, Mia, Zoey, Thomas, Molly, Hazel, Charlotte, Landon, Louis, Lennon, LeeAnn, Alison, Avery, Aiden, Averie, Lily, Emberly, Channing, and Adelyn.

Bob is also survived by a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as church and work family.

Receiving friends will be February 4th, 2025 from  5-7 p.m. at  Middle Creek Baptist Church 6455 Knoxville Hwy, Oliver Springs, TN 37840, with the funeral to follow.

Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the  Anderson Memorial Gardens, 640 Oliver Springs Hwy, Clinton, TN 37716 .
