Stella Louise Patterson, age 76 of Oliver Springs passed away at Methodist Medical Center on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. She was born on October 2nd, 1948 in Oak Ridge, TN.

Stella was an avid Elvis fan, liked collecting all things Rooster-related and being a mom and granny to her loved ones. One of her prized successes was owning a trucking business D&S Trucking with her husband Douglas Patterson. Douglas and Stella got married June 11th, 1967 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Morgan County.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Douglas Patterson; her mother and father, Clarence and Alma Brummitt; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Earslee Patterson; siblings Robert Brummitt, Peggy Brummitt, Steve Collins, Jean Collins, Sandy Lyles and Jim Pennington; and Grandchildren Jacob Patterson and Jasmine Patterson.

She is survived by children Vickie (Michael) Braden, Cathy Stewart Caines, Douglas Patterson, Jr., and Alicia Patterson; siblings Jim (Shannon) Brummitt, Joyce Vandergriff, David Brummitt, Sue Pennington, Sheila Brummitt and Teresa Condra;

Grandchildren Codey (Jessica) Braden, Dustin (Stephanie) Braden, Brandon Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Cory (Cassie) Braden, Destinay Braden, Trey Patterson, James Hooker, and Bryson Patterson; and her great-grandchildren Lexy Braden, McKenna Morgan, Levi Braden, Baylee Nance, Abel Braden, Skottie Braden, DJ Braden, Collyns Braden, Ryleigh Seiber, Jaxson Braden, Austin Braden, Easton Braden and Noah Stewart. A host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 12-1:00 at Jackson Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 with Bro. Joseph Key officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 in Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens.
