Susan Ewing Schendel, 73, of Oak Ridge, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025. Born Aug. 5th, 1951, in Oak Ridge, TN to the late William McKay Ewing and Juanita Marlow Ewing. Susie was a devoted mother, friend and source of bound less optimism to those who knew her.
She is survived by her son Tom, and grandchildren Gavin and Luke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Schendel; her brothers John Ewing and Dewey Ewing; and her sister, Victoria Ewing. Susie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, and unwavering love for humanity will live in our hearts forever.
