Tommy Aytes Obituary

Tommy Aytes Sr., age 70 of Lancing, Tennessee went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, after a courageous battle with illness, Sunday, September 13, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  Tommy was a man that loved the Lord and loved his family.  Tommy also loved to go fishing and hunting and enjoyed to be outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Venus Aytes.

Two Brothers:  Jerry and Doug Aytes.

One Sister:  Ginger Ball.

And one Granddaughter:  Brianna Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Darlene Elizabeth Aytes.

Son:  Robert Aytes and his wife Rachael of Wartburg, TN.

Daughter:  Candy Williams of Lancing, TN.

Son:  TJ Aytes and his wife Kristie of Wartburg, TN.

8 Grandchildren:  Jason, Kristi, Amanda, Tyler, Rhiannon, Jacob, Kaitlyn and David.

11 Great Grandchildren:  Hannah, Jack, Grayson, Collin, Kaylub, Bentley, Harper, Charles, Leighton, Callie and Sophia.

Sister:  Sharon Hixson and husband Roy of Westland, Michigan.

Brother:  Junior Aytes and wife Carla of Central Lake, Michigan.

Brother:  Dean Aytes and late wife Rita of Detroit, Michigan.

Sister:  Barbara Vann and late husband Mike of Joyner, TN.

Sister:  Becky Weeks and husband Dewayne of Tampa Bay, Florida.

Sister:  Wanda Copley and husband Walter of Xenia, Ohio.

Special friends: Brendan and Debbie Rickens of Wartburg, TN and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 3:00 to 4:00pm at Frankfort Baptist Church, Frankfort, TN.  Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm with his son, Pastor T.J. Aytes officiating.  Interment will be in the Frankfort Cemetery.
