Vara (Kay) Pittman .of Oak Ridge peacefully passed away on the evening of January 2nd 2023 at 90 years of age. She was born in Nash County, North Carolina on December 3rd 1932 to Elijah and Eva Bunn. She was born the sixth child of ten and is survived by two sisters as well as her three children, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and quilting in her retirement .
Cremation was chosen and a private family service will take place at a later date.
