Ethel Virginia West Case, better known as Ginny or Mimi to many.
Ginny was born February 20, 1947 to James Terry and Virginia West. She was the epitome of oldest sister to Jim Terry West and Malinda West Pryor. They grew up in DeSoto, GA. She was the mother to Robert Case and her beloved daughter, Jennifer.
Jennifer passed away at the age of 6 from leukemia. Robert and his wife, Rebecca gave Ginny 3 grandsons who lovingly called her Mimi. Jackson West, Thomas Evan, and William Allen were the lights to her world. Ginny was also Mimi to Anna Grace, Callie, and Cassie Probst.
She also leaves behind an army of friends who battled with her the last few years of multiple illnesses.
Gathering of friends and family will be Tuesday, June 27 from 5-7 pm at Green Meadow United Methodist Church.
Celebration of Ginny’s life will be Wednesday, June 28th at 1:00 pm at Green Meadow.
Ginny’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread at sea.
Thank you to Jackson Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN for caring for our Mimi. Thank you to UT Medical Center and especially the doctors, nurses, and numerous other medical personnel in the Cardiovascular ICU who cared for Ginny in her last days.
