Wesley Bryson Williford Obituary

Wesley Bryson Williford “B-Willy,” age 24 of Oliver Springs departed this earth and was received in God’s loving arms on July 3rd, 2025. Bryson was born December 22nd, 2000, as his mother’s miracle and her forever best friend. After he graduated from Oliver Springs High School in 2019, he completed an electrical apprenticeship with Massey Electric to become a journeyman electrician in 2024. Bryson proudly joined the IBEW Local 270 to continue his career. He attended Beech Park Baptist Church and loved Jesus. Bryson also enjoyed the outdoors; fishing (especially with his Pawpaw), playing golf, and being around friends and family. “For the One We Couldn’t Hold”

You walked this world with a quite grace,

A gentle soul, a tender face.

But storms can brew where none can see,

A hidden war fought silently.

You gave your love, you gave your light,

But some hearts break without a fight.

This world was heavy, far too loud-

And still you tried. We are so proud.

We won’t reduce your life to pain,

Or let your memory bear that stain.

You were laughter, art, and sacred song-

You were right here, where you belonged.

We’ll speak your name with gentlest breath,

Not marked by shame but love in death.

And though you slipped beyond our view,

Our hearts will always carry you.

If love alone could be your stay,

You would still be here with us today.

But now we light this flame and say-

We miss you more with every day.
