Wilma Gene Martin Obituary

Wilma Gene Martin, born September 3, 1934, and passed away on February 14, 2025,


She loved and dedicated all her time to friends and family. Her favorite things to do was to be outdoors working in her garden and tending to her animals. She enjoyed square dancing, quilting, cooking, canning and family. She was a member of Free Communion Church in New River.


She was preceded in death by her Father Henry Miller Bunch and Mother Josephine Seiber Bunch; Husband Claude Herman Martin; Sister Lorene Bunch Wilson.


She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Denise Wells.


Granddaughters, Christina Madewell Ownby and husband Clint and Catlyn Mya Wells;


Great-granddaughter, Ava Paige Ownby;


Brother, Willie Bunch.


Sisters, Beulah Mae Bunch Jones, and Ruby Mae Bunch King.


A special thank you to Adoration Hospice. They were so special and kind and a tremendous help to me as caregiver, Charlotte (nurse) and Victoria (CNA)

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 12-1:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation in Oliver Springs.


Interment will follow in Seiber Cemetery  in New River.
