Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Staley,  age 54 of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, beloved husband and best friend of Coralie Staley for 19 years, passed away suddenly, but peacefully in his home on Friday, November 11, 2016.

 

Ronnie will be forever remembered as a positive, friendly man with a big smile and a love for his family and friends, repairing cars, fishing, and spur-of-the-moment road trips. He was an employee of Siemen’s Medical Solutions, working as an Iridium welder, and the work he performed allowed others to have access to advanced medical scans and treatment. Ronnie restored countless older automobiles in his spare time, including a 1968 Camaro Super Sport he restored for his brother, Chuck. He enjoyed fishing on Melton Hill Lake with his wife and his cousin, David Burkhart.

 

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Staley of Maynardville and his father-in-law, William Berdine of West Virginia.

He will be remembered with love by his family, including wife, Coralie Staley;

Mother, Helen Roberts; brother, Charles Roberts II(Laura);

Son, Damion Staley (Tiffany);    daughter, Brandy Staley;

Grandchildren, Danielle Staley, George Livesay, Zoe, Nick and Will Cristy;

Nephews, Liam and Ethan Roberts; stepsons, Cliff Cristy (Nikki) and Ed Christy (Amy);

Stephdaughter, Sarah Livesay (David); Mother-in-law, Margaret Berdine;

And many other extended family members and friends.

 

In observance of Ronnie’s wishes, the family will be having a private celebration of life to share stories and memories of the man who loved them so dearly.

The family requests no flowers please. Instead, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Ronnie’s memory.
